Due to the pandemic, which cancelled the art fairs where I usually sell my weaving, I didn't produce any new work from June 2020 until May 2021. The few remaining pieces of my pre-pandemic work (medium scarves and wraps) are now offered at closeout prices (see below).
During the pandemic, I acquired a delightful studio assistant, "Mac," from the Peninsula Humane Society. He is my faithful companion and persistent critic. Unfortunately, he loves to "borrow" and tangle yarn. "We" resumed weaving in mid-May 2021, concentrating on 11"-14" wide scarves, using high end custom fibers, generally alpaca or merino wool, often handspun and hand-dyed, as well as bamboo. I also do custom orders.
All my work is handwashed upon completion. Care instructions:
Handwash in cool or warm water with gentle shampoo and conditioner, dry flat.
A mix of natural fibers, generally alpaca or merino wool; 2021 also uses bamboo & mohair fibers
11"- 15" wide
50"- 58" long
Price: $60 each (plus tax)
