The pandemic cancelled the art fairs where I usually sell my weaving, so I didn't produce much new work until May 2021. But I acquired a delightful studio assistant, "Mac," from the Peninsula Humane Society. He is my faithful companion and persistent critic. Unfortunately, he loves to "borrow" and tangle yarn. When "we" resumed weaving, I began concentrating on 11"-14" wide scarves, using high end custom fibers, generally alpaca or merino wool, often handspun and hand-dyed, as well as bamboo. I also began doing custom orders.
All my work is handwashed upon completion. Care instructions:
Handwash in cool or warm water with gentle shampoo and conditioner, dry flat.
