In 2017, I enrolled in my first fiber arts class, “Weaving Explorations,” at the Richmond Art Center (RAC), and using a simple back strap loom, began creating fashion scarves using a variety of natural fibers, colors, and textures.
After selling most of my inventory at the RAC’s 2017 Holiday Art Fair, I bought a Schacht 20” Flip Loom (rigid heddle) and use it to create both wearable and decorative art (throw pillows and wall art). I continually experiment with fiber and designs and add to my inventory weekly.
