A native Californian, I have A.B. and MBA degrees from Stanford University. I worked in tax, accounting, finance, management, and financial training for nearly forty years.
I have been a writer and have pursued a variety of visual arts virtually all my life. I retired in 2009 and enjoy travel, capturing people and places in my photographs.
When not traveling, I write poetry and study drawing, painting, printmaking, and weaving at the Richmond Art Center, the Kala Art Institute in Berkeley, and the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto. My art is moving from traditional landscape/figurative to portrait and abstract work. My weaving emphasizes color and texture. My poetry centers on aging, loss, and relationships.
